HIRRA Family Tree

The Hornby Island Residents’ & Ratepayers’ Association is a non-profit society which has a unique role and precious opportunity to administer Hornby’s own tax dollars for many of our vital services.

We have undertaken the task of collecting the names of all persons who have held roles as HIRRA Executive and Administrators since inception. We call this the HIRRA Family Tree 2024. Thanks to the efforts of HIRRA Administrators, our Tree is nearly complete.

Having taken it this far, we now need your help and ideas. Can you fill in, with certainty, any of the “unknown” blanks?

Do you have ideas about how we should display it to honour this history and all those people who were so involved, and who are yet to be involved, in the evolution of Hornby Island? Should it go into a book, on a wall, displayed by decade? All ideas welcome.
